TRIADS: Arrangement in Site & Sound

Triads is a multi-location performance series, film and installation that explores the relationship between classical music performance, site, and the communities surrounding them. Inspired by the embedded history and acoustdic language of a historic building, an industrial space, and a garden sanctuary, Baltimore based composer, Ledah Finck will premiere a three-part composition across these three locations. In collaboration with Baltimore-based musicians (including us!), each site will house a different musical element of the composition- one instrumental, one vocal and one electronic. The project will culminate in a film installation, by Rachel Guardiola, that presents the composition in its entirety and provides audiences with an alternative for composition in its entirety and provides audiences with an alternative for consuming classical music performance that prioritizes both auditory and visual aesthetic experience.
